1. Remove the front wiper arms (see "Removal, disassembly and installation of the windshield wiper").
2. Disconnect the windshield washer nozzle pipe from the washer pump (see "Removing and installing the washer reservoir").
3. To remove the frame trims, you will need to unscrew the seven screws that secure the soundproofing trim to them and the six screws that secure the trims to the body.

4. Remove the hood seal.
5. Remove the screw that holds the left and right pads together.
6. Pry it up with a screwdriver…
7. …and remove the plugs of the screws securing the trims to the body.
8. Remove the screws securing the trims to the body.
9. Remove the screws securing the soundproofing trim to the frame trims…
10. …and remove the left one…
11. …and the right pad.
12. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
