Fuses and fuse links are used to protect the electrical circuits of a vehicle. The connection of most consumers and electrical circuits is carried out through a relay.

Depending on the maximum current, the fuse and fuse link housings have different colours. Fuses, fuse links and relays are located in two mounting blocks: in the vehicle interior and in the engine compartment.

In the car's interior, the fuse and relay box is located in the instrument panel on the left side. Access to the mounting block is blocked by a cover.

Fuse and relay box in the passenger compartment: 1 - working fuses Fl—F40; 2 - spare fuses; 3 - working fuses F41—F46; 4 - working fuses F47—F51; 5 - fuse extractor tweezers; KI—K13 - relay for switching on electrical equipment

Note: The serial numbers of the fuses and relays are indicated on the body of the mounting block. The purpose of the relay and the circuits protected by the fuses are indicated by conventional symbols.
