A monolithic ignition module is installed on the K7M type engine, which consists of two two-pin ignition coils and a two-channel switch.

Removing
Place the car in the workplace, brake with the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the wire terminal "masses" from the battery.
Disconnect connector 1, Figure 11-19, wiring harness from ignition module 2.

Disconnect the 3 high voltage wires from the ignition module.
Unscrew the bolts 1, Figure 11-20, fastening the ignition module and remove the ignition module 2 (T30 Torx screwdriver).

Installation
Install ignition module 2, Figure 11-20, screw in and tighten bolts 1 for fastening ignition coils. Bolt tightening torque 15 Nm (1.5 kgf·m) (Torx T30 screwdriver, replaceable Torx T30 nozzle, extension, torque wrench).
Attach lugs 3, Figure 11-18, high voltage wires to the ignition module.
Connect connector 1 of the wiring harness to the ignition module.
Attach wire terminal "masses" to the battery.
