K4M engine ignition coil
In this version, the spark plug is included directly with the module, there are no high-voltage wires. The ignition module is controlled by the ECU.
Location of the ignition module for the K4M engine: 1 — a bolt of fastening of the coil of ignition; 2 - ignition module; 3 - spark plug
Coil (module) removed for both replacement and access to the spark plugs.
Removing
Place the car in the workplace, brake with the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the wire terminal "masses" from the battery.
Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from coils 1, Figure 11-18, ignition.

Unscrew the bolts 2 fastening the ignition coils and remove the ignition coils (interchangeable head 8, extension, crank).
Installation
Before installing the ignition coils, replace bolts 2, Figure 11-18, fastening the ignition coils with new ones, if necessary, replace the O-rings of the ignition coils.
Before installing the ignition coils, apply 2 mm thick FLUOSTAR 2L around the inside circumference of the ignition coil cap on the spark plug and ignition coil side.
Install the ignition coils 1 on the spark plugs, screw in and tighten the ignition coil bolts. Bolt tightening torque 14 Nm (1.4 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 8, extension, knob, torque wrench).
Connect the wiring harness connectors to the ignition coils.
Attach wire terminal "masses" to the battery.
