Attention. Do not allow contact cleaner or other materials to come into contact with the oxygen sensor or sensor block. These materials can get into the oxygen sensor and cause it to malfunction.
Diagnostic oxygen sensor (DDCC)
Located in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter. (see photo below).
Removing
Put the car on a two-post lift, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the wire terminal "masses" from the battery.
Disconnect the harness connector from connector 1, Figure 11-23, diagnostic oxygen sensor.

Disconnect the diagnostic oxygen sensor block from the mounting bracket.
Unscrew diagnostic oxygen sensor 2 (tool Mot. 1495 or interchangeable insert 22 from the set of type 811382 f. "USAG").
Installation
Install diagnostic sensor 2, Figure 11-23, oxygen. Sensor tightening torque 45 Nm (4.5 kgf·m) (tool Mot. 1495 or interchangeable insert 22 from the set of type 811382 f. "USAG", torque wrench).
Attach block 1 of the diagnostic oxygen sensor to the mounting bracket. Connect the wiring harness connector to the diagnostic oxygen sensor connector. Attach wire terminal "masses" to the battery.
