Caution: Do not allow contact cleaner or other materials to come into contact with the oxygen sensor or sensor connector. These materials may enter the oxygen sensor and cause it to malfunction.
Diagnostic oxygen concentration sensor (DOCS)
It is located in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter. (see photo below).
Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from connector 1, Figure 11-23, of the diagnostic oxygen sensor.

Disconnect the oxygen sensor diagnostic connector from the mounting bracket.
Unscrew the diagnostic oxygen sensor 2 (device Mot. 1495 or replaceable insert 22 from the kit type 811382 f. "USAG").
Installation
Install diagnostic sensor 2, Figure 11-23, oxygen. The sensor tightening torque is 45 N·m (4.5 kgf·m) (device Mot. 1495 or replaceable insert 22 from the kit type 811382 f. "USAG", torque wrench).
Attach connector 1 of the diagnostic oxygen sensor to the mounting bracket. Connect the wiring harness connector to the diagnostic oxygen sensor connector. Connect the ground wire terminal to the battery.
