Replacing the gear motor and heater flap position sensor (Priora 2170)

The heater flap gear motor and its position sensor are made in a single unit.

You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the heater (see "Removing and installing the heater radiator").



3. Remove the three screws securing the gearmotor unit to the heater body…



4. …and remove the block and the heater flap position sensor.

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
