1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the electric fan with the casing (see "Removing and installing the radiator electric fan with casing").

3. Unscrew the three nuts securing the fan motor to the casing…

4. …and remove the casing from the electric motor.

5. Unscrew the nut securing the impeller to the electric motor…

6. …and remove the impeller from the electric motor shaft.

Note: This is what the fan motor looks like when removed from the vehicle. Pay attention to the markings stamped on the electric motor housing so that when replacing it, you can purchase an electric motor of the same design.
7. Install the fan motor in the reverse order of removal.
