Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Remove the engine crankcase guard (see here).
For cars with K4M engine
Remove the intake noise muffler (see here).
For cars with K7M engine
Remove the air filter air intake pipe. (see here).
For vehicles with power steering

Disconnect the power steering line from the holders on the electric fan of the engine cooling system.

Remove the two screws securing the radiator supply hose bracket...

...and remove the bracket.

Remove the power steering pump reservoir from the mounting bracket without disconnecting the pipes and tie it to the engine.
Operations for all vehicle configurations
Disconnect harness 1, Figure 13-19, of wires from holder 2 on the electric fan.

By squeezing the clamps, disconnect the connector (3).

If necessary, remove the power steering hose holders and the electric fan resistor.

Remove the screw from the right upper fan shroud frame...

Similarly, unscrew the screws of the left upper, left lower and right lower fasteners of the fan shroud frame...

Remove the electric fan of the engine cooling system together with the casing downwards by pressing on the upper mounting clips.

Installation
If removed, install the electric fan resistor and power steering hose holders.
Further installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Checking the operation of the electric fan of the cooling system
Start the engine.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the coolant temperature sensor.
Check the operation of the electric fan of the engine cooling system.
Connect the wiring harness connector to the coolant temperature sensor.
Stop the engine.
Using the diagnostic tool, clear fault code DF004 "Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit" (diagnostic device DST-14).
Read fault codes.
If necessary, correct the fault.
Clear fault codes from memory.
