1. Disconnect the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Remove the engine cooling fan (see here)
3. Key "on 10" unscrew the nut securing the fan impeller to the motor shaft by turning the nut clockwise (thread on the shaft and on the nut left).
4. Remove the impeller from the motor.
5. Using a 10 mm drill, drill out three rivets securing the electric motor to the bracket...
This is how the rivets for fastening the electric fan to the bracket are located.
6....and separate the motor and bracket.
Pay attention to the marking of the electric motor. To replace, purchase an electric motor with the same marking.
7. Install the new motor on the bracket and secure it with three pop-off rivets.
8. Install the impeller on the motor shaft and secure it with the nut by turning it counterclockwise (thread on the nut and on the shaft left).
