The front passenger airbag differs from the driver's airbag in its shape and comparatively larger volume.
Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
Warnings!
- Attempting to remove the airbag module without disconnecting its power supply may result in unexpected airbag deployment.
- You can proceed with subsequent operations to remove the airbag only after the activator capacitor has been completely discharged. To do this, you must wait at least 15 minutes after turning off the power supply. Disassembling the airbag module is prohibited.
- The airbag module must not be dropped or exposed to water, grease or oil.
- The airbag module must not be exposed to temperatures above 95°C.
Remove the instrument panel together with the airbag attached to it. (see here).
Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the four nuts securing the airbag module to the panel.
Remove the wiring from the plastic holders on the panel.

And remove the front passenger airbag completely.
Note: Some car owners remove the passenger airbag without removing the dashboard. To do this, remove the radio and through the resulting niche, unscrew the four nuts securing the cushion by touch. Access is very difficult!
The airbag is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Disabling the passenger airbag
During operation, it may be necessary to disable the passenger airbag, and in some cases, for example when installing a child seat in the front seat, this must be done!
Open the front passenger door and turn the switch located on the side of the instrument panel to the "OFF" position.
In this case, the indicator of the disabled airbag will constantly light up on the instrument cluster.
