Place the vehicle in the work area, apply the parking brake, and turn off the ignition. Raise the hood, disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (10 mm spanner).
Remove the interior light (see here).
Remove the visor and its fasteners (see here).
Fold back the front portion of the roof lining to access the antenna mount.

Unscrew nut 1, Figure 17-5, securing the radio antenna of the audio system. Disconnect the audio system antenna cable from the antenna.
Remove the radio antenna of the audio system.
Note: To remove the audio system antenna cable, remove the instrument panel.
Installation
Install the radio antenna in the reverse order of removal.
