Removal
Place the vehicle in the work area, apply the parking brake, and turn off the ignition. Raise the hood, disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (10 mm spanner).
Note: When replacing the UCH, it is essential to read the configurations using the diagnostic tool (diagnostic device DST-12 or DST-14).
The UCH is located under the instrument panel on a bracket to the left of the driver.

Press the lock and turn the bracket to disconnect connector 2, Figure 18-1, of the instrument panel wiring harness from the UECBS.

Disconnect block 3 by pressing its clamps.

Loosen bolt 1 of the UCHBS fastening (phillips screwdriver).

Remove the UCHBS.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
After replacing the UCH, perform the necessary operations.
