Removal
Place the vehicle in the work area, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition, raise the hood, and disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (10 mm spanner).

Disconnect connector 4, Figure 22-1, of the left loading door wiring harness from the connector of the rear wiring harness.
Disconnect the left loading door glass washer tube 3 from the washer fluid supply tube.
Disconnect the connector from the additional brake light.

Remove the left loading door trim. Disconnect the left loading door wiring harness connector from the lock.
Disconnect the left loading door wiring harness from terminals 2 and 3, Figure 22-2, of rear window heating element 4.
Disconnect the left loading door wiring harness connector from the license plate light.
Remove the left loading door wiring harness.
Installation
Install the left rear loading door wiring harness in the reverse order of removal.
