1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the heater (see "Removing and installing the heater radiator").

3. Remove the ventilation hose of the fan motor brush assembly.

4. Remove the three mounting screws…

5. …and remove the fan motor from its housing.

Note: This is what the fan motor looks like assembled with the impeller.
Note: If the electric motor or impeller is faulty, the entire assembly must be replaced, since attempting to remove the impeller from the electric motor shaft will result in its breakage.

Note: It is not possible to balance the impeller yourself. It is balanced together with the electric motor in factory conditions on specialized diagnostic stands by installing balancing brackets on the fan blades.
6. Install the fan motor in the reverse order of removal.
