Knocking (clicking) noise when turning the vehicle at low speed or when the load on the transmission changes

1. Wear of outer constant velocity joints. Check the technical condition of the wheel drives (see "Wheel drives - checking the technical condition"), replace faulty parts.

2. The suspension parts have become loose. Check the technical condition of the suspension (see "Front suspension - technical condition check", cm. "Rear suspension - technical condition check"). Tighten loose fastening elements to the prescribed tightening torque for threaded connections.

3. The steering components have become loose. Check the technical condition of the steering (see "Steering - checking technical condition"). Tighten loose fastening elements to the prescribed tightening torque for threaded connections (see "Reference data").

Knocking noises when driving over uneven surfaces

1. The engine crankcase protection has become loose. Tighten loose fastening elements to the prescribed tightening torque for threaded connections (see "Reference data").

2. Loosening of suspension fasteners. Tighten loose fastening elements to the prescribed tightening torque for threaded connections.

3. The front suspension is faulty. Check the technical condition of the front suspension (see "Checking the technical condition of the front suspension"). Replace faulty parts.

4. The rear suspension is faulty. Check the technical condition of the rear suspension (see "Checking the technical condition of the rear suspension"). Replace faulty parts.

5. The exhaust system suspension cushion is damaged. Check the condition of the cushions (see "Checking the technical condition of the exhaust system"), replace faulty parts.

Vibration when driving a car at high speed (over 90 km/h)

1. The vehicle wheels are out of balance. Have your wheels balanced in a specialist workshop.

2. The geometry of the tires or wheel rims is damaged due to deformation (see "Checking the technical condition of disks, tires and hubs"). Replace deformed parts.

3. Wear of constant velocity joints of front wheel drives. Check the technical condition of the front wheel drives (see "Front Wheel Drives - Checking Technical Condition"). Replace faulty parts.
