Individual lamps of headlights, taillights or dome lights do not turn on
1. Bulb filament burnt out (see «Lighting, light and sound signaling»). Replace defective lamp.
2. The contact of the lamp in the cartridge is oxidized (see «Lighting, light and sound signaling»). Treat the oxidized compound with an electrical contact cleaner and protector.
3. Damaged electrical wires or oxidized tips in their connections (see «Electrical equipment - checking the technical condition»), Treat electrical connections with an electrical contact cleaner and protector. Replace damaged parts.
All lamps of one circuit do not turn on
1. Defective fuse or relay in the related circuit. Check fuse and relay box (see «Fuse and relay mounting block»), replace the defective fuse or relay. If the fuse blows again, check the corresponding electrical circuit (see «Electrical equipment - checking the technical condition») and troubleshoot.
2. Malfunction of the steering column switch. Check the steering column switch, replace the defective part.
3. Damaged electrical wires or oxidized tips in their connections (see «Lighting, light and sound signaling»). Treat electrical connections with an electrical contact cleaner and protector. Replace damaged parts.
Individual headlight or taillight bulbs are dimly lit
1. Poor contact or damage to the wire connecting the lamp or lantern to «weight» (see «Lighting, light and sound signaling»). Treat the oxidized connection with a cleaning and protection agent for electrical contacts. If the connection cannot be restored, replace the damaged parts.
2. Dimming the lamp bulb. Check by inspection (see «Lighting, light and sound signaling»). Replace lamp.
