License Plate Lights — Bulb Replacement, Removal and Installation (Granta 2190)

The car is equipped with two license plate lights. They are located in the niche of the rear bumper.



Replacing lamps in headlights is performed in the same sequence.

The lights can be removed both together or separately.

Replacing lamps

1. Prepare the car for work ("Preparing the car for maintenance and repair"). Turn off the outside lighting.

2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the light.



3. Release the retainer and remove the headlight diffuser.



4. Replace the faulty lamp





5. Assemble and install the lantern in reverse order.

Removal

To remove the flashlight, unscrew the screws that secure it (see above) and remove it from the protective case. Then we disconnect the tips of the two wires from the terminals.



To remove the lights as a whole, remove the rear bumper ("Rear bumper - removal and installation"). Unscrew the three screws securing the light bracket to the bumper...



...and we remove the lights.

Installation
