When these warning lights come on on the instrument panel, stop immediately as soon as traffic conditions permit.
Most emergency lamps come on for a few seconds when the ignition key is returned and the system starts a self-test. If some of the warning lights turn off or some stay on or flash after starting the engine, please contact an authorized service station for diagnosis and repair.
Low petrol warning lamp
The lamp lights up if the fuel level is minimal and the square divisions of the fuel gauge (3) exhausted.. Please fill the tank as soon as possible if the lamp starts to burn.
Coolant temperature gauge (4)
The number of displayed divisions depends on the temperature of the coolant. The warning is issued only when the last three square divisions light up.
Coolant overheat warning lamp
In normal mode, the lamp lights up for a few seconds, and then goes out after the engine is turned off. If after a few seconds the lamp comes on again and flashes or stays on due to overheating of the coolant while driving, immediately stop the car and turn off the engine, then check the coolant level and add it according to the specifications.
Beware of burns! When the engine overheats, the cooling system is in a state of high temperature and high pressure, so it is necessary to open the radiator cap after the engine has cooled down. Do not touch the radiator fan!
ABS malfunction indicator lamp
The lamp comes on when the ignition is turned on for a few seconds, during which time the system performs a self-test of the ABS to confirm that it is working properly. If the lamp stays on or flashes after the ignition has been turned on, this will indicate that there is a malfunction in the ABS system. However, the vehicle has the ability to use conventional brakes (without ABS) . Contact an authorized service station for diagnosis and repair. Drive carefully and try not to exceed the speed limit. Refer to section «brakes» for important information about using and repairing the system.
Parking brake lamp and brake system warning lamp
Turn on the ignition and apply the parking brake, then the parking brake lamp will turn on. The parking brake lamp will turn off as soon as the lever is released. The state of the parking brake is indicated by a lamp.
The brake system malfunction lamp comes on if the brake system is experiencing a malfunction or the brake fluid level is below the required level (MIN position).
If the light stays on, check the brake fluid level. If so, immediately add brake fluid to the correct level, namely between the MIN and MAX marks, and also contact an authorized service station to check the system.
In the event that the ABS malfunction warning lamp and the conventional brake warning lamp are active together, stop the vehicle as quickly as possible, observing safety precautions as much as possible. Have an authorized service station have the brake system checked before driving on.
Seat belt indicator lamp
When the ignition key is turned on while the seat belt is not fastened, this lamp flashes to warn the driver to use the seat belt.
Engine warning lamp
The lamp flashes when the ignition key is turned on, and the improved built-in status diagnostic system (EOBD) starts self-test; if the system does not find any problems, the alarm lamp goes out after starting the engine; If the lamp does not go out or lights up while the vehicle is moving, it means that the car is malfunctioning and the permitted exhaust gas level exceeds the level set by national standards, so please contact an authorized Chery service station for repair.
High beam indicator lamp

Front fog lamp indication
The lamp turns on or off when the front fog lamps are turned on or off in accordance.
Rear fog lamp indication
The lamp turns on or off when the rear fog lights are turned on or off in accordance.
Turn signal lamps
They flash when the left or right turn signal is turned on. Light up and flash (slowly) the corresponding indicator lamp at the moment the right or left turn lamp is turned on. Both lamps will flash at the same time when the alarm is activated.
Note. Many car owners note that the brightness of the turn signals is too low, i.e. hardly noticeable, and since there is no backlight brightness adjustment on the panel, the only way to increase the brightness of the arrows is to replace the bulbs with more powerful LEDs.
Airbag warning lamp
The alarm lamp flashes and goes out when the ignition is turned on after a few seconds, which means the normal operation of the airbag; in the event of a malfunction, the alarm lamp lights up, indicating a malfunction.
The occurrence of a malfunction is also indicated by the fact that the lamp lights up while the vehicle is moving. Contact an authorized service station for verification.

Low engine oil warning lamp
The lamp lights up as soon as the ignition is switched on and goes out after a few seconds. Please stop the vehicle immediately if the lamp does not go out or continues to flash while driving, and turn off the engine to check the engine oil level.
Add oil immediately if the oil level is too low. If the engine oil consumption is too high, contact a service station to check.
Engine oil change warning light
Illuminates when the engine oil needs to be changed. The system only takes into account the mileage between two oil changes; the time interval is not taken into account. This means that you may need to change the oil before the warning light comes on. (see «Engine oil change»).
Battery charge indicator lamp
The battery charge indicator lamp is used to indicate the operating status of the generator.
The lamp lights up as soon as the ignition is turned on and goes out when the engine is started. This means that the alternator is charging the battery.
Stop the vehicle immediately if the lamp comes on and stays on while the vehicle is moving and turn off the engine to check the alternator belt. If the belt is OK, continue driving to the nearest authorized service station for repair; as the battery continues to discharge, all non-essential electrical appliances should be turned off, including the air conditioning system. If the belt breaks, never continue driving and contact a specialist.
Open door signaling lamp
The lamp burns constantly if the doors are open, or poorly closed after the ignition is turned on.
Diesel fuel filter water warning light
If it stays on all the time or lights up while driving, this indicates the presence of water in the diesel fuel filter. Urgently contact the service station.
Signal lamp of system of electronic blocking of start of the engine
This signal lamp performs several functions. When the ignition is switched on, the warning light comes on without flashing for approximately three seconds and then goes out. The car recognized the code. You can start the engine. If the lamp is constantly flashing, it means that the engine cannot be started due to blocking - the key code is not recognized. Try using a spare key.
Also, a permanently lit or flashing lamp may indicate a system malfunction. Contact your Lada dealer.
Warning lamp for preheating or malfunction of electronic systems

Preheating warning light (diz.)
The warning light should be on when the ignition key is in position M, this indicates that the preheating is on. The warning light goes out when the glow plugs have reached the correct temperature and the engine is ready to start.
Emission control warning light
The lamp flashes after the ignition key is turned on, if the system does not find any problems, the alarm lamp goes out after the engine is started; If the lamp does not go out or lights up while the vehicle is moving, it means that the vehicle is out of order and the permitted exhaust gas level exceeds the level set by the national standard, so please contact an authorized service station for repair.
If the lamp flashes, reduce the engine speed until the flashing stops. Urgently contact the service station.

Emergency stop warning light
The lamp lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine is started.
If the lamp lights up while driving, for your safety, you should immediately stop the car as soon as traffic conditions allow. Stop the engine and do not start it.
Overspeed horn - Depending on the vehicle's equipment, when the speed is exceeded 120 km/h, a horn sounds for approximately 10 seconds every 30 seconds.
