
As it becomes dirty, the air flow into the cabin deteriorates. One of the signs of a clogged filter is fogging of the car windows when the air conditioning system is operating.
The work on replacing the air conditioning filter must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance plan (see "Maintenance plan"). When operating the vehicle in dusty areas, the filter may become clogged much earlier. Under such conditions, it should be replaced as it becomes dirty. The filter cover is located on the right side of the center console, under the glove compartment.

Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. To access the filter element, use a TORX T20 key to unscrew the screw securing the right front floor tunnel trim...

...and overcoming the resistance of the clamps, we remove the right trim.

3. Press the latches (for clarity, shown with the cover removed)...

...remove the filter cover.
4. Remove the filter element.

5. Install the new filter element in the reverse order.
