Adjusting the position of the hood lock (Priora 2170)

You will need a 10 mm wrench.

1. Remove the front bumper (see "Removing and installing the front bumper").



2. The position of the hood lock is adjusted using the enlarged holes for the mounting bolts in the bracket on the body. To adjust, loosen both mounting bolts.



3. If there is a hard impact when closing the hood and it is difficult to open it, move the lock across the car.



4. If there is a lot of force when closing the hood or if there is vertical play in the closed position, move the lock vertically (up or down accordingly). After adjustment, tighten the lock mounting bolts.
