To perform the work you will need a special key for brake pipe fittings.

Removal



1. Prepare the car for work ("Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Clean the connections of the brake hose tips and tubes from dirt and corrosion. We treat the pipe fittings with penetrating lubricant.

Warning: When performing the following operation, make sure that the tube does not rotate with the nipple when unscrewing it. If the tube is "stuck" in the fitting, replace it.


3. Holding the upper end of the hose from turning with a 15 mm open-end wrench, use a special wrench to loosen the tightening of the tube fitting.

4. Finally, unscrew the fitting using a 10 mm open-end wrench.

5. To prevent brake fluid leakage, place a protective cap on the end of the brake pipe for the bleed nipple of the working cylinder.

6. Remove the upper end of the brake hose from the hole in the body bracket.

7. In a similar manner, unscrew the tube from the lower end of the brake hose and release it, removing it from the hole in the bracket installed on the rear axle beam.

Installation



1. Install the hose in reverse order.

2. Remove air from the brake hydraulic drive ("Hydraulic brake drive - bleeding") and check the brake hose and tube connections for leaks.
