The car is equipped with a cabin dust filter (Figure 6.5), located in the climate control module. As dust and contaminants accumulate in the filter, the air flow coming out of the vents may decrease. As a result, moisture will fall on the inner surface of the glass even if the system is operating in supply air mode. If this happens, you should check and clean or replace the filter. Filter replacement – 30,000 km of vehicle mileage or once a year, and also earlier if this is caused by the need identified based on the results of diagnostics of the ventilation system (for example, after intensive use of the car in dusty conditions).
The filter is removed from the climate control module on the right side of the center console after removing the cover.
