The cabin filter is located in the heater unit under the instrument panel on the glove compartment side.
In the variant version, the car is equipped with a cabin dust filter of the HVAC module (cabin filter), installed in the heater. It is allowed to use in warranty and post-warranty operation at the customer's request combined (against odors) filter that complies with RENAULT standard 32-02-832 and is approved by AVTOVAZ in accordance with the established procedure. The cabin filter of the HVAC module is manufactured together with the integrated cover and is installed in the heater on the right side (passenger side). For ease of replacement, the filter design allows for its deformation in the vertical plane.
How often to change the filter
For LADA Largus, the cabin filter change interval is set at 15,000 km. If necessary, replacement can be carried out earlier if this is caused by a need identified based on the results of diagnostics of the ventilation system*, or operation of the vehicle in particularly dusty conditions.
*Note: The cabin filter must be replaced if, according to the results of the check at the LADA dealer, at a voltage of 12 V at the terminals of the heater fan, the flow (performance) air flow through a clogged filter is reduced by 8% or more compared to a new filter.
Attention! Untimely replacement of the cabin filter may lead to deterioration of ventilation, heating and air conditioning, as well as the risk of freezing of the cooler (evaporator), and, as a consequence, to interruptions in the operation of the air conditioner.
