When using the air conditioner, you may notice a slight change in engine performance depending on whether the air conditioner compressor is turned on or off. This is normal.
In cooling mode, the air conditioner compressor consumes engine power, which increases fuel consumption.
The air conditioner automatically switches off due to too high engine coolant temperature.
If the interior of a parked car is very hot due to the sun's rays, it is recommended to open the windows or doors briefly to release the heated air from the interior, then turn on the air conditioner.
Do not turn on the air conditioner while driving if the windows are open.
For the heater and air conditioner to function properly, the air intake in front of the windshield must not be blocked by ice, snow or fallen leaves.
When the air conditioner is running, moisture may appear under the bottom of the vehicle. This is normal, as the car's air conditioning system removes moisture condensed on the air conditioner evaporator from the passenger compartment.
During the cold season, turn on the air conditioner once a month for at least a few minutes to maintain its operating characteristics at an optimal level.
It is recommended to have the air conditioning system cleaned by a LADA dealer once every two years.
