Use of fuel whose quality does not comply with the current Technical Regulations CU 013/2011 (GOST 32513-2013 or GOST R 51866-2002) may cause engine damage and void your warranty.

The preferred fuel for your car is 95 octane gasoline. This gasoline allows you to achieve the nominal values of power, dynamics, economy and toxicity. If it is not possible to use gasoline with an octane rating of 95, it is permissible to use gasoline with an octane rating of at least 92.

The quality of fuel and the additives it contains have a significant impact on engine power, vehicle dynamics and engine life.

Low octane fuel can cause engine detonation.

Use of leaded fuel will damage the exhaust system and void your warranty.

Note: To prevent accidental use of leaded gasoline, your vehicle is equipped with a fuel filler neck that is smaller in diameter than the diameter of the fuel nozzle for leaded gasoline.

Sequence of actions when refueling a car:
  • Turn off the engine.
  • Apply the parking brake.
  • Open the fuel tank filler cap.
  • Slowly turn the filler cap counterclockwise. If a hissing sound occurs, wait until it stops before completely unscrewing the cap.
  • Remove the plug and hang it on the filler cap, which has a special holder (see Figure 4.9). When refueling, position the cap so that it does not come into contact with dirt that could enter the fuel tank. When refueling to a full tank, stop refueling after the first trip of the automatic switch on the refueling nozzle.
  • After refueling, close the cap by turning it clockwise until it stops.
  • Close the fuel filler cap tightly.

Warning: For safety reasons, it is essential that canisters, pumps and hoses are properly grounded. a static discharge may cause gasoline vapors to ignite. This may cause burns and damage to the vehicle.


Before refueling (Figure 4.8) turn off the engine and additional heaters that have their own combustion chambers. Turn off your mobile phones.

Fuel vapors may be ignited by electromagnetic waves or current from a mobile phone.

Fuel is a highly flammable and explosive substance.

Do not smoke. Avoid open flames and sparks.

When refueling, follow the instructions and safety rules of the gas station.

Before opening the fuel cap or touching the fuel nozzle, discharge any static electricity from your hands by touching unpainted metal.

When refueling, try to avoid actions that may cause electrostatic discharge, such as getting in and out of the vehicle.

If you smell fuel in your vehicle, have the cause of the malfunction immediately eliminated at a service station.

Gasoline and its vapors are poisonous!

Avoid contact of gasoline with skin and clothing, and avoid inhalation of gasoline vapors.

When refueling your vehicle, avoid getting gasoline on the paintwork and rubber products: any fuel that gets on them should be wiped off immediately.
