When the ignition is turned on, most of the indicators light up briefly to check their functionality.
The colors of the indicators indicate:
- red, orange - danger, important reminder;
- yellow - warning, help, malfunction;
- green, blue – confirmation of inclusion.

Tachometer (Figure 3.4) shows the engine crankshaft speed. To find out the number of engine revolutions per minute, you need to multiply the tachometer reading by 1000.
Warning! If the tachometer needle moves into the red sector of the scale, this means that the maximum permitted engine crankshaft speed has been exceeded. the engine may fail.

Inflatable airbag warning light
The indicator lights up when the ignition is turned on.
If the airbag system is working properly, it will go out after about a few seconds of being turned on. If it does not light, does not go out, or lights up while driving, this indicates a malfunction in the airbag circuits or seat belt tensioners (see section 2. SEATS, PASSIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS).
Warning: In the event of an emergency, these systems may not function. contact your authorized LADA dealer immediately.
Multifunctional signal lamp
The lamp lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts. In case of some faults, the lamp may light up together with other warning lamps. The switching on of the red lamp is accompanied by a sound signal.
Warning: When this warning light comes on, for safety reasons, you must stop the vehicle immediately as soon as traffic conditions permit. to fix the problem, contact an authorized LADA dealer.
Emission Control System Warning Light
Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out shortly after the engine starts (see section 4. DRIVING AND CONTROL OF A VEHICLE).
If the indicator lamp comes on or flashes while the engine is running, this indicates that there is a malfunction that requires correction.
Warning! Operating the vehicle with the exhaust gas monitoring system malfunction indicator lamp on or flashing may result in the failure of the system, increased fuel consumption and deterioration of the vehicle's performance. you must contact an official LADA dealer.
"Open Door" indicator
This indicator serves to warn about opening or loose closing of the car doors (see section 1. KEYS, DOORS, WINDOWS, PEDALS).
Gear shift indicators light up as a recommendation to move up (up arrow) or to a lower one (down arrow) transmission.

Speedometer
Speedometer (Figure 3.5) shows the speed of the vehicle in km/h. Depending on the vehicle configuration, when the speed of 120 km/h is exceeded, an audible signal is emitted every 30 seconds for approximately 10 seconds.

Direction indicator lights
The indicators flash when the direction indicators are on or when the hazard warning lights are on. frequent blinking
The direction indicator lamp or the corresponding fuse may be faulty (see section 8. CAR CARE).

Low battery warning light
Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out shortly after the engine starts (see section "Car care").
If the lamp comes on while the engine is running, it means that the vehicle's electrical system is not working properly and indicates a faulty battery charging system, weak or broken alternator drive belt, or a faulty alternator itself.
Warning! Stop and turn off the engine. Contact the official LADA dealer.
Coolant temperature warning light
This warning light warns of overheating of the engine coolant (see section "Car care").
Warning: Stop the vehicle immediately in a safe place and let the engine idle for a few minutes. if the indicator does not go out, turn off the engine and contact an authorized LADA dealer as soon as possible.
Driving for long periods with the indicator light on may cause engine failure due to overheating.
Engine oil pressure warning light
Lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out shortly after the engine starts.
If the lamp lights up continuously after starting the engine and also turns on while driving, this indicates a dangerous drop in oil pressure in the engine systems.
If the light comes on while the vehicle is moving, pull off the road, immediately turn off the engine and check the oil level.
Warning! Operating the vehicle with the warning light on may cause serious damage and engine failure.
High beam indicator light
Lights up when the high beam is on and when the headlights are flashing (see section "Controls and instruments").
Front fog light indicator light
Lights up when the front fog lights are on (see section "Light signal switch").
Rear fog light indicator light
Lights up when the rear fog light is switched on (see section "Light signal switch").
Low beam headlight indicator light
