Headlight corrector switch (XRAY 1)

Before operating the vehicle with the low beam on, make sure that the headlight beam angle adjuster switch wheel is in the correct position (Figure 3.15) depending on the vehicle load condition:

• 0 - driver or driver + front passenger;
• 1 - driver + 4 passengers or driver + luggage compartment load 100 kg;
• 2 - driver + 4 passengers + luggage compartment load 50 kg.

If necessary, adjust the angle of the low beam headlights by turning the switch wheel until one of the marks (numbers) on the scale corresponding to the vehicle load condition is aligned with the mark on the housing. When the switch wheel is set to a position outside the recommended marks (numbers) on the scale, the following negative effects may occur:

• asynchrony of the tilt of the low beam of the right and left headlights (which is not a defect);
• insufficient road surface illumination range.
