Light signal switch (XRAY 1)

The light switch is located on the steering column on the left (Figure 1.24).



Light signal switch positions (Figure 1.25):

• 1 - neutral position. The low beam headlights are on if the headlights are turned on with the exterior lighting switch.
• 2 - left turn signals are on. Unfixed position.
• 3 - left turn signals are on. Fixed position.
• 4 - right turn signals are on. Unfixed position.
• 5 - right turn signals are on. Fixed position.
• 6 - towards yourself, giving a light signal. Briefly switches on the high beam headlights regardless of the position of the exterior lighting switch. Unfixed position.
• 7 - away from you, high beam headlights are on if the exterior lighting switch is in the low beam headlights position. Fixed position.

The exterior lights turn on regardless of the position of the key in the ignition, so make sure the exterior lights are turned off when leaving the vehicle (to avoid battery discharge).

If the exterior lights remain on after the key is removed from the ignition, a warning chime will sound.

To turn on the outdoor lighting (Figure 1.26) turn the external lighting control ring 1, which has fixed positions:

• Exterior lighting off 0. Fixed position.
• The side lights are on. The position is fixed.
• The low (high) beam headlights are on. The position is fixed.
• The "Auto" mode is on (automatic control from a light sensor, in a variant design, Figure 1.28). The position is fixed.

• 1 - External lighting control ring.
• 2 - Fog light control ring (functions only when the outside lighting is on).

To be switched on when necessary (in fog, snowstorm, etc.conditions of poor visibility) fog lighting, turn control ring 2, which has fixed positions:

• Off. Fixed position.
• The rear fog light is on. Switching on is only possible when the parking lights or low beam headlights are on. The position is fixed. In the variant with the "AUTO" function, the position is not fixed.
• Front fog lights are on (in a variant design). Switching on is only possible when the parking lights or low beam headlights are on. The position is fixed. In the variant with the "AUTO" function, the position is not fixed.

Warning!

• When approaching oncoming or passing vehicles, always switch from high beam to low beam. high beam headlights can temporarily blind other drivers, which could lead to an accident.
• Use fog lights and fog lamps only for their intended purpose and remember to turn them off when not needed to avoid disturbing other road users.
