Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the protective cap.

3. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, pry up the switch...

...and we remove it from the body.

4. Press the lock, disconnect the wiring harness connector and remove the switch.

5. Using a multimeter in ohmmeter mode, check the serviceability of the switch. When the switch button is in the free position, all switch contacts should be closed, and when the button is pressed, they should be open. We replace the faulty switch.
Installation
1. Connect the wiring harness block to the switch.
2. Put the protective cap on the switch and fix it in the body.
