Windscreen wipers and washers operate only when the ignition is on.
In the variant version, the car is equipped with a rain sensor, while the speed of the windshield wiper is controlled automatically and depends on two factors: the sensitivity level of the sensor (regulated) and precipitation intensity.
Rain sensor (Figure 1.28), and also the light sensor is located on the windshield under the rearview mirror trim.

- 1 - Trip computer control buttons.
- 2 - Rear window cleaning and washing control ring:
- Off. Fixed position.
- The rear window wiper is on. The position is fixed.
- The rear window wiper and rear window washer are on. The position is not fixed.
- 1 - Ring for adjusting the pause duration of the intermittent mode. In "auto" mode, it is used to adjust the sensitivity of the windshield wiper switch sensor.
Windscreen washer and wiper control lever positions (Figure 1.30):

- 1 - Neutral position. Windscreen wipers and washers are turned off. The position is fixed.
- 2 - Intermittent mode or "Auto" mode is enabled (in a variant design) windshield wiper operation. The position is fixed.
- 3 - Windshield wiper is on low speed. The position is fixed.
- 4 - Windshield wiper is on high speed. The position is fixed.
- 5 - Towards you, windshield washer is on. The position is not fixed.
Attention! After the supply of washer fluid from the nozzles has stopped, the washer pump must not be turned on again. the windshield washer system can be used again after filling the reservoir with washer fluid (see subsection "Windscreen washer reservoir" in the section "Car care").
