1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the decorative cover from the engine (see "Removing and installing the decorative engine cover").
3. Press the plastic retainer...
4. ...and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the coil terminal.
5. Remove the bolt securing the ignition coil to the cylinder head cover...

6. ...and remove the coil from the spark plug well.

Note: Pay attention to its markings in order to purchase a similar coil for replacement.

7. Install the ignition coil in the reverse order of removal.
