But it is difficult to perform such a check when the electric fan is located in the air conditioning unit housing. The location of the connector is a problem. Voltage can be supplied using two wires, the ends of which have tips for inserting into plugs.
The wires will have to be connected by touch. It is advisable to insulate the tip of the wire connected to the positive terminal of the battery.
Another way is to remove the electric fan for inspection. But in this case, before testing it must be securely fastened to the body. The fan impeller should not touch anything.
Warning: To avoid injury, do not touch the impeller while power is on.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work ("Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the storage box for ease of use (see "Additional resistor - replacement").
3. By pressing the lock...
...disconnect the wiring harness from the electric fan.
4. Unscrew the three screws securing the electric fan.
5. Remove the electric fan from the air conditioning system.
Installation
We install the electric fan in the reverse order.
