Removal
Place the vehicle on a work stand, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition, open the hood and disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (spanner 10).
Remove the front bumper in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20599.

Disconnect pads 2 and 3, Figure 5-1, of the engine wiring harness from controller 1 of the robotic gearbox.

Unscrew the four nuts 4, Figure 5-2, fastenings and remove the controller 3 and the spacer bushings 2 from the bracket 1 (replaceable head 8, extension, ratchet).

Unscrew bolts 2 and 5, Figure 5-3, and remove bracket 3 of the gearbox control controller (replacement head 13, extension, ratchet).
Installation
Install the control controller bracket 3 on the beam 1, Figure 5-3, of the front bumper and tighten the mounting bolts 2 and 5. Tightening torque of bolts 18...24 Nm (1.8...2.4 kgf·m) (replaceable head 13, extension, ratchet, torque wrench).
Install spacer bushings 2 on the welded bracket bolts, Figure 5-2, install the control controller 3 and screw on four fastening nuts 4. Tightening torque of nuts 2...3 Nm (0.2...0.3 kgf·m) (replaceable head 8, extension, ratchet, torque wrench).
Connect to controller 1, Figure 5-1, of the robotic gearbox control, connectors 2 and 3 of the engine wiring harness.
Install the front bumper in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20599.
Connect the ground wire terminal to the battery and tighten the mounting nut. Tightening torque of the nut 4...6 Nm (0.4...0.6 kgf·m) (replaceable head 10, torque wrench).
If a new controller has been installed, it is necessary to perform the AMT training procedure in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.12055.
Present the vehicle to the Quality Control Department. The Quality Control Department will check the vehicle for compliance with the requirements of TU 017200-254-00232934, paragraphs 1.19.15, 1.19.16, 1.19.21.3.
