Recommendation. The operation of replacing the pump requires experience and accuracy (fuel module components may be damaged), therefore, in case of a fuel pump failure, it is recommended to replace the fuel module assembly.
To complete the work you will need a hair dryer (technical) or hot water.
Removal
1. Remove the fuel module (see "Fuel module - removal and installation").

2. Remove the pump from the fuel module intake chamber (see above).
Caution: The strainer is held in place by a retaining spring washer on the cylindrical boss of the fuel pump.
3. Remove the mesh filter from the electric fuel pump pipe. At the same time, we help with a slotted screwdriver with a thin blade, carefully moving the lock washer along the pump lug.

4. After pressing the lock, remove the fuel pump from the housing.

5. Using a screwdriver, remove the clamp securing the tube to the electric fuel pump outlet.
6. Using a hair dryer, heat up the end of the corrugated tube placed on the electric fuel pump nozzle.

Warning! Monitor the temperature of the heated parts, do not overheat the pump and tube.
7. Remove the corrugated tube from the pump branch pipe.
Installation
We install the fuel module in the reverse order.
At the same time, putting on the mesh filter, using a slotted screwdriver with a wide blade, press the spring washer of the filter onto the protrusion of the pump.
