2. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the two mounting bolts...
...and we remove the lock from the door.
3. Disconnect the drive rod from the lock.
4. Press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the lock...
...and remove the lock.
Recommendation. Before installation, lubricate the lock mechanism with plastic grease and apply thread lock to the mounting screws.
5. Install the lock in reverse order.
Recommendation. After installing the lock, check the ease and tightness of the door closing. Adjust the lock if necessary.
6. Mark the position of the lock retainer to enable return to the original settings.
7. Using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the two bolts securing the lock retainer.
8. By moving the latch back and forth and from right to left, we achieve easy and tight closing of the door.
9. After completing the adjustment, tighten the lock retainer mounting screws to the specified torque (see table 15.1.1).
