Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift, apply the parking brake and turn off the ignition.
Remove the front wheel.
Raise the vehicle to a height convenient for performing work.
Clean the front brake parts (metal brush).
Remove the front brake pads.
Additionally, for LADA LARGUS R90 vehicles with a K7M engine, unscrew and remove the upper guide pin mounting bolt and hang the caliper on the front suspension spring (spanner 17, replaceable head 13, ratchet wrench, technological hook).
Loosen the two bolts 1, Figure 10-1, securing the front brake guide to the steering knuckle, remove the bolts and remove the guide 2 (replacement head 18, extension and ratchet).

Installation
Attention. After removal, bolts 1, Figure 10-1, securing the guide to the steering knuckle must be replaced, since the bolts are fixed with an adhesive compound applied to the threaded surface of the bolts. Reuse of bolts is not permitted.
Install the front brake guide on the steering knuckle and secure it with new mounting bolts, after applying 1 g of "HIGH-STRENGTH LOCKING COMPOUND" to the threaded surface of the bolts on each bolt. Tightening torque of bolts 105 Nm (10.5 kgf·m) (replaceable head 18, extension, ratchet, torque wrench, "HIGH-STRENGTH LOCKING COMPOSITION" spare parts number 77 11 230 112).
Attention. After removal, bolts 3 securing the guide pins must be replaced, since the bolts are fixed with an adhesive compound applied to the threaded surface of the bolts. Reuse of bolts is not permitted.
Install the front brake pads.
Additionally, for LADA LARGUS R90 vehicles with a K7M engine, tighten the upper guide pin mounting bolt, after applying adhesive to the threaded portion of the bolt "FRENETANCHE" in the amount of 1 g. Bolt tightening torque 34 N·m (3.4 kgf·m) (spanner 17, replaceable head 13, ratchet wrench, torque wrench, glue "FRENETANCHE" part number 77 11 236 471).
Install the front wheel.
Check the efficiency of the service brake system.
