Car anti-theft system (immobilizer) (Granta 2190)

The car can be equipped with a standard anti-theft system (immobilizer) with remote control. The system consists of an immobilizer control unit, a remote control unit, a remote control combined with an ignition key and a transponder (coding device), as well as sensors for open doors and hood. The hood open sensor is installed on the engine compartment partition bracket. Door open sensors are built into their locks. The immobilizer sensor is built into the ignition switch (lock), and the control lamp is located in the instrument panel.

The car comes with two keys: a working key with a remote control and a training key with a red insert on the end. After activating the immobilizer, the training key becomes "its own" for the control units. Additionally, you can encode a second working key. The diagnostic equipment remote control works only after the immobilizer is activated.



The car is equipped with an electric door locking system (so-called central lock). The drives are built into the side door locks. The electric drive for the luggage compartment door lock is installed only on some vehicles.

When the security alarm is turned on, all doors are automatically locked. The car is armed by pressing button 1 once. Pressing button 2 deactivates the security alarm and disables the driver's door lock. To deactivate the passenger door locks, press button 2 again.
