Removal



1. Prepare the car for work ("Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Remove the wheel ("Wheel - replacement").

3. Remove the hose from the shock absorber bracket (see "Front Brake Hose - Replacement").

4. Through the inspection hole in the caliper bracket, slightly move the brake pads apart so that they move away from the brake disc.

5. Loosen the tightening of the lower end of the hose (see "Front Brake Hose - Replacement").

6. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the caliper to the steering knuckle.

7. Remove the caliper assembly.

Warning: Do not press the brake pedal when the brake caliper is removed.


8. Rotate the caliper, unscrew the lower end of the brake hose from it and remove the caliper from the car.



Installation



1. Install the caliper in the reverse order, replacing the brake hose sealing ring with a new one.

2. Remove air from the brake hydraulic system ("Hydraulic brake drive - bleeding") and make sure that the connection between the hose tip and the caliper is tight.
