1. Be sure to check the air pressure in the tires and, if necessary, increase it to the recommended pressure for this type of tires. A pressure difference of 0.2–0.3 kgf/cm² can worsen the handling parameters, smoothness of the vehicle and lead to unwanted skidding or drifting when braking. Low tire pressure causes the tread to wear out faster and consumes more fuel.
2. Inspect the parking space under the vehicle. If there are leaks of oil or operating fluids, check the tightness of the vehicle's units and systems, and, if possible, eliminate the leak before leaving.
3. Walk around the car. Check:
- completeness of removable parts (windshield wipers, exterior mirrors, etc.);
- the integrity of the body glass, headlight and taillight lenses. Don't delay replacing broken diffusers. Replace cracked car body glass as soon as possible;
- tire condition. Radial tires have soft sidewalls. Tires with nominal inflation pressure appear underinflated. Remember their appearance (draft);
- presence and condition of license plates.
Attention! Headlights, taillights and number plates must be clean.
4. Check the oil level in the engine crankcase and, if necessary, top up the oil to the norm.
5. Check the brake fluid levels in the brake master cylinder reservoir and the coolant levels in the expansion tank. If necessary, add fluid to the required level.
6. We recommend checking the oil level in the gearbox and topping it up if necessary.

7. Check the operation of the parking brake. To do this, lift the lever to the stop and count the number of clicks. If there are more than eight clicks and the parking brake system does not hold the vehicle on a 25% slope, the parking brake needs to be adjusted.
8. Check the operation of the sound signal.
9. Check the operation of the headlights, rear lights and direction indicators.
10. Before driving, be sure to check the operation of the brake system on a stationary vehicle by pressing the brake pedal. If the pedal "falls" to the floor without resistance, then the brake system is faulty. Operation of such a vehicle is prohibited.
Note: Before a long trip, as well as after a long break in operation, check the condition of the spare tire and equip the car with tools and accessories.
If a malfunction is detected, make a decision (taking into account the requirements of the Road Traffic Regulations) about the start of a trip or about car repairs.
