Running in a car (Priora 2170)

During the vehicle's running-in period (the first 2000–3000 km of mileage), intensive running-in of the parts occurs. The reliability, durability and economy of your car will depend on proper operation during this period. A new car and a car with a replaced one must undergo a break-in period (completely renovated) engine.

During the break-in period, follow these rules for operating the vehicle.

1. Before each trip, check and, if necessary, adjust the air pressure in the tires to the norm.

2. Do not allow the engine to operate at high crankshaft speed (the tachometer needle should not reach the yellow zone of the scale).

3. Shift to a lower gear in a timely manner according to road conditions to avoid unwanted engine overload.

4. To better break in the brake pads, try to avoid sudden braking.

5. Avoid driving in deep snow, sand, and mud whenever possible.

6. Do not change the engine oil that was filled at the factory.

7. Do not tow a trailer and, if possible, try to avoid towing other vehicles.

8. Use a "soft" driving style, avoiding sudden acceleration, braking, and maneuvering.

9. Do not exceed the speed of 100 km/h even on descents.

After the break-in period, visit the dealer service station for the first scheduled maintenance. In order for the warranty to remain valid, ask the service station employees to enter a note about the maintenance in the service book coupons.
