2.1 General conditions
2.1.1. The radio may only be operated if it is absolutely certain that it will not endanger traffic safety.
Attention! Keep your eyes peeled for the road first! The driver is fully responsible for road safety. Use the product in such a way that the car remains under your control in any situation!
2.1.2 To prevent an accident while driving:
- do not tune the radio;
- do not make the sound very loud, as this may interfere with the perception of sound signals from other vehicles.
2.1.3 Try not to park the vehicle in direct sunlight, which can lead to an excessive increase in the temperature inside the passenger compartment. Allow the interior temperature to cool down before starting playback.
2.1.4 The radio receiver is designed to operate at an ambient temperature of minus 40°С to plus 70°С. Before use, the temperature inside the passenger compartment must accept acceptable limits.
2.1.5 The radio receiver is designed to be connected to the vehicle's on-board network 12 V with a negative on the case. Do not connect the radio in vehicles with a different supply voltage.
2.1.6 The USB connector is intended for connecting a USB Flash card, a USB Flash player with a memory capacity of at least 1024 MB, a USB HDD with a FAT 32 file system and a Mobile phone (only in charging mode).
2.2 Switching the radio on/off
2.2.1 To turn the radio on or off, briefly press the button «+» (pos. 4). After turning on, the radio will go into the mode prior to turning it off.
2.2.3 If the radio does not respond to pressing the control buttons, press (blunt thin rod) and hold the Reset button for 2-3 seconds (rice. 2, pos. 12). After turning on with the button (rice. 2, pos. 4) the radio automatically switches to the radio listening mode.
Attention! The radio receiver saves user settings (broadcasting frequencies, sound settings, user settings) after disconnecting the battery terminals no more than 10 days.
2.3 Sound settings
2.3.1 The volume is adjusted by turning the encoder knob (rice. 2, pos. 6) right or left.
2.3.2 A short press of the encoder knob enters the sound settings mode. The parameter to be set is selected by turning the encoder knob.
2.3.3 To turn off the sound, press the MUTE button (rice. 2, pos. 3). To turn on the sound, press the button again or turn the encoder knob.
2.4 Time display
2.4.1 If you press the DISP button with the radio turned off (rice. 2, pos. 9), then for 15 seconds the display will show the current time, only when the ignition is on.
2.5 Welcome screen when turning on the radio
2.5.1 When the radio is turned on, a welcome message appears on the screen «LADA GRANTA».
