Removal
For vehicles with the H4M engine: place the vehicle in the work area and apply the parking brake.
For vehicles with engine 21129 and 21179: place the vehicle on a two-post lift and apply the parking brake (electro-hydraulic lift type P-3.2G with a lifting capacity of 3.2 t).
For cars of all trim levels
Fold the rear seat cushion forward.
Remove cover 1, Figure 8-1, of the fuel pump hatch.
Disconnect connector 1, Figure 8-2, of the rear wiring harness from the MEBN 1.
Start the engine and let it run at idle speed until it stops completely to relieve pressure in the fuel system, ensuring the removal of exhaust gases (exhaust reel with fan type SERF/SP). Turn off the ignition.
Disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (spanner 10).
Remove the intake module in accordance with the requirements of Section 8.6 of this technological instruction.
Press the spring clamps and, by moving along the axis of the fitting, disconnect the tip of tube 1, Figure 8-31, of the front fuel line from the rail 2 of the injectors.

For cars with engine 21129 and 21179
Disconnect the 3 fastening bracket and move the front fuel line pipe to the side (flat head screwdriver).
Disconnect the harness pads 1, Figure 8-32, wires from the fuel injectors 2, cut the two clamps 3 of the fastening and move the harness to the side (technological knife).

For cars with H4M engine
Loosen the four bolts securing the fuel rail protective cover and remove the protective cover (replaceable head 8, 10, extension, ratchet).
Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the fuel injectors and move the harness to the side.
Unscrew the two mounting bolts and remove the ramp with the injectors as an assembly (replacement head 10, extension, ratchet).
Installation
For cars of all trim levels
Before installing the ramp, lubricate the injector sealing rings with engine oil (engine oil according to the current "Codifier of main and auxiliary materials used in maintenance and repair of LADA vehicles" K 3100.25100.00018).
Install the ramp with injectors assembly onto the engine. Screw in and tighten the mounting bolts. Tightening torque of bolts 9...14 Nm (0.9...1.4 kgf·m) (5 mm Allen key, Allen socket, replaceable head, extension, torque wrench).
Connect the connectors of harness 1, Figure 8-32, wires to the fuel injectors 2 and secure the harness with two new clamps 3 to the injector rail (for cars with engines 21129 and 21179).
Connect tube 1, Figure 8-31, the front fuel line to the fitting of the rail 2. When installing, connect the tip of the tube to the fitting until the spring lock clicks. After installation, check the reliability of the tube fixation.
For vehicles with engines 21129 and 21179: attach the bracket 3 of the fuel line to the injector rail.
For vehicles with H4M engine: install the fuel rail cover and secure with two bolts (replaceable head 8, 10, extension, ratchet, torque wrench).
Install the intake module assembly onto the cylinder head in accordance with the requirements of Section 8.6 of this TI.
Connect block 1, Figure 8-2, of the rear wiring harness to the MEBN 1.
Install cover 1, Figure 8-1, of the fuel pump hatch.
Lower the rear seat cushion.
Connect the ground wire terminal to the battery in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20587.
Present the vehicle to the Quality Control Department. The Quality Control Department will check the vehicle for compliance with the requirements of TU 017200-254-00232934, paragraphs 1.19.10, 1.19.14, 1.19.21.3 in the scope of work performed.
