3.3. Configuring the CBKE



The ABS hazard warning function can be disabled/enabled using the diagnostic tool in mode "Function Test; Configuration". In the initial state, the function must be enabled, the parameter "Activation of emergency signaling by the ABS system" ="C".

3.4. Error codes of the CBKE



Viewing fault codes is possible using the Grade-X diagnostic tool in the "Fault Codes" mode.

For each detected malfunction, the following is stored in the CBKE memory:
  • fault code;
  • status of fault code condition (active or inactive).

The fault code is stored in memory with the status "active" if the last diagnostic test completed with a negative result.

The trouble code is stored in memory with the status "inactive" if the last diagnostic test completed with a positive result, but the previous ones completed with a negative result. This manifestation is possible if the car has an intermittent malfunction. The cause of an intermittent malfunction may be damage to the wire insulation, damage to the contacts in the connecting blocks, or an unreliable connection of the blocks.

an "inactive" trouble code is cleared from memory if the diagnostic tests have completed successfully within a certain number of the last ignition on/off cycles.

The access control system fault codes and diagnostic procedures are shown in Table 3-1.

If the fault code is "active", then perform diagnostics. If the fault code is "inactive", the diagnostic test condition must be met (see table 3-1) and make sure there is no malfunction. If the malfunction occurs again, perform diagnostics.

After completing the diagnostic and repair work, perform the diagnostic test and ensure that there is no malfunction.

To delete codes from the CBKE after repairs are completed, erase the codes using the diagnostic tool in mode "Fault Codes; Delete and update".

Attention: In order to prevent the body electronics unit from blocking the circuits being tested, do not delete "active" fault codes from the CBKE memory.
