Device, troubleshooting
The work must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the labor protection instructions for fitters in force at the enterprise.
The central body electronics unit (CBEU) is designed to perform the following functions:
- functions of the access control system (see TI 3100.25100.12057 "LADA VESTA vehicle access control system - device, fault diagnostics");
- starter control;
- control of additional consumer relays;
- control of rear window heater and side electric mirror heaters;
- windshield heater control;
- control of direction indicator and hazard warning lights;
- interior light control;
- control of threshold lighting lamps (for the "Lux" package);
- trunk light control;
- windshield wiper control (for "Classic" and "Comfort" trim levels);
- energy saving control of car interior lighting devices;
- brake light switch (BLS) status monitoring;
- clutch pedal position signal switch (CPPS) status monitoring (for models with manual transmission);
- indication.
Replacement of the CBCE
After replacing the CBCE, to restore its functionality, it is necessary to perform the CBCE training procedure using the Grade-X diagnostic device (the procedure for entering parameters into the CBKE) and perform the procedure of automatic configuration of the CBKE (see TI 3100.25100.12057).
The electrical connection diagram of the CBKE on the LADA VESTA vehicle is shown in Figures 1-1 and 1-2.
