Removal
Place the vehicle in the work area and apply the parking brake. Raise the hood, disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (spanner 10).
Remove the instrument panel storage compartment housing in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20599.
Disconnect four connectors 2 of the instrument panel wire harness from the CBKE 1, Figure 20-1.

Unscrew nut 3 of the fastening of the CBKE to bracket 5 of the crossbar of the instrument panel 6 (replaceable head 8, ratchet wrench).
Disconnect the CBKE from the instrument panel cross member bracket and remove from the vehicle.
Installation
The installation of the CBKE on the vehicle is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Present the vehicle to the Quality Control Department. The Quality Control Department will check the vehicle for compliance with the requirements of TU 017200-254-00232934-2006, paragraphs 1.19.21.3, 1.19.21.6 in the scope of work performed.
