Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift, apply the parking brake and turn off the ignition (electro-hydraulic lift type P-3.2G with a lifting capacity of 3.2 t).
Remove the rear wheel in accordance with the requirements of Section 14 of this TI.
In accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20596:
- remove the brake drum from the rear wheel hub axle;
- disconnect the hand brake cable from the brake shoe drive lever and remove the cable end from the hole in the brake shield;
- disconnect the brake pipe from the wheel cylinder;
- remove the rear wheel speed sensor from the brake shield.

Unscrew four bolts 2, Fig. 11-1, and remove the rear wheel hub axle and brake shield 1 complete with pads and wheel cylinder (torx E16 replaceable head, ratchet).
Installation
Install the brake shield assembly with pads and wheel cylinder on the rear suspension arm flange, install the rear wheel hub axle and tighten the four mounting bolts. Tightening torque of bolts 105 Nm (10.5 kgf·m) (torx E16 replaceable head, ratchet, torque wrench).
In accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20596:
- connect the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder;
- connect the hand brake cable to the brake shoe drive lever;
- install a rear wheel speed sensor on the brake shield;
- install the brake drum on the rear wheel hub axle.
Check the operation and, if necessary, adjust the parking brake drive in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.20596.
Install the rear wheel in accordance with the requirements of Section 14 of this TI.
Bleed the brake system in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.08020.
Check the efficiency of the service brake system in accordance with the requirements of TI 3100.25100.13062.
Present the vehicle to the Quality Control Department. The Quality Control Department will check the vehicle for compliance with the requirements of TU 017200-254-00232934, paragraphs 1.19.19, 1.19.22 in the scope of work performed.
