1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. In the luggage compartment, open the upholstery flap.
Note: For clarity, the work is shown below with the upholstery removed.
3. Release the clamps and disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the turn signal lamp...
...brake signal and parking light lamps.
4. Using an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the three mounting nuts.
5. Move the light back, removing the guides from the body and disconnecting the holder.
6. Remove the lantern.
7. Install the lamp in reverse order.
Inner section

2. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Trunk lid trim - removal and installation").
3. Release the clamps and disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the reversing light bulb...
...and parking light bulbs.
4. Using an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the three mounting nuts...
...and remove the lantern.
5. Install the parts in reverse order.
