Note: One of the reasons for low fuel pressure in the fuel rail may be a dirty mesh filter of the fuel module.
Removal
1. Remove the fuel module ("Fuel module - removal and installation").
2. Remove the fuel level indicator sensor from the intake chamber ("Fuel Level Gauge Sensor - Replacement").
3. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the drain pipe from the intake chamber.

Warning: Use a marker to mark the guide where the spring is mounted. It is not possible to move the spring to another guide.
4. Remove the guide covers from the fuel module intake chamber.

5. Release the three fasteners and remove the fuel pump housing complete with mesh filter from the intake chamber.

7. Remove dirt deposits from the fuel module intake chamber and rinse in clean gasoline.
8. Wash the mesh filter in nitro paint solvent and blow it out with compressed air (from a compressor or foot pump).
Recommendation. If the mesh filter is very dirty and cannot be cleaned, replace it (see below).
Installation
We assemble the fuel module in the reverse order of disassembly.
