Removal
Place the vehicle on a work stand, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition, open the hood and disconnect the ground wire terminal from the battery (spanner 10).

Disconnect connector 1, Figure 9-1, of the instrument panel wiring harness from switch 2 of the clutch pedal position signal.
Turn switch 2 of the clutch pedal position signal 90 counterclockwise and remove it from the hole in bracket 3 of the clutch pedal mount.
Installation
Please note: The stem extension on this model of clutch pedal position signal switch is not adjustable.
Press the clutch pedal 4, Figure 9-1, install the switch 2, the clutch pedal position signal, into the hole in the clutch pedal bracket 3 and turn it clockwise until it stops.
Release the clutch pedal.
Connect connector 1 of the instrument panel wiring harness to switch 2 of the clutch pedal position signal.
Connect the ground wire terminal to the battery and tighten the mounting nut. Tightening torque of the nut 4...6 Nm (0.4...0.6 kgf·m) (replaceable head 10, torque wrench).
Present the car of the OTK. OTC check the vehicle for compliance with the requirements of TU 017200-254-00232934 clause 1.19.16.
