Operation and use of the multimedia system (XRAY 1)

Touch screen

Short press:

• select option;
• option execution (media player screen)

Pressing the forward button moves to the next heading.

Long press:

• storing an element in memory (radio screen) Long press on the specified number saves the current radio station in memory;
• fast scrolling
• Long presses of the scroll down buttons enable fast scrolling (page by page) scrolling
• Fast forward/backward scrolling (media player screen). Long presses of the "Fast forward/backward" button speed up/rewind playback

Return to "Main Menu"

The system returns directly to the "Main Menu" by long pressing button 1 from anywhere in the system

Using the Alphabet Keyboard

When entering a section using the letter keyboard, each letter is selected using the keyboard.



As you enter each letter, the system turns off the backlighting of some letters to simplify the input procedure.

Press 2 to delete the last character entered. Press 3 to display the results list. Press 4 to use numbers and symbols. Press 5 to change keyboard settings.

Sound volume

Adjust the sound level for different messages, devices, calls and phone messages:

• by pressing B (see Fig. 4);
• or using buttons 2 and 6 (see Fig. 5)

To configure this function, see the "Sound settings" section in the "Adjusting the sound" chapter.

The radio broadcast being listened to is interrupted when receiving traffic announcements "TA", information bulletins or warnings.

Caution: Adjust the volume to a moderate level that allows you to hear surrounding noise.

Turn off sound

Briefly press 3 The "MUTE" icon at the top of the screen means the sound is turned off.

To resume listening to the external device, press and release 3 again.

This function is automatically turned off when the volume setting is changed or when you receive information bulletins or traffic messages.

Change the sound level depending on the speed. When this function is enabled, the sound of the audio system and navigation system will change depending on the vehicle speed.

Radio receiver mode

Select broadcast range

To select a broadcast range:

• press 1;
• select the desired FM, AM or DAB band by clicking on it

Select radio station FM, AM or DAB

There are several ways to select a radio station. After selecting a wave range, select a mode by pressing tabs 5, 6 or 7.

There are three frequency setting modes:

• "Frequency" mode (tab 7);
• list mode (tab 6);
• preset mode (tab 5)

These modes can be changed using the MMC controls on the steering wheel (see Figure 5 – button 5).

Note: Mark 2 shows the position of the radio station you are currently listening to in the list stored in memory.

"Main" mode

This mode allows you to find all radio stations in the selected frequency range in manual or automatic scanning mode. Select the "Frequency" mode by pressing the tab 7 To scan the frequency range:

• move forward or backward in manual mode by one frequency step by pressing buttons 4 or 8 in sequence;
• move forward or backward in automatic mode (search) to the next radio station by pressing buttons 3 or 9

Repeat the steps each time you stop searching, if necessary.

Note: To return to the "Main Menu", press button 10.

"List" mode

"Preset" mode

Select the List mode by pressing 14.

This mode of operation allows you to quickly search for a station whose name you know in an alphabetically ordered list (only for FM and DAB ranges).

Select the desired station by pressing zone 12. Press button 13 to view all stations.

Note: Symbol 11 indicates the radio station you are currently listening to.

The names of radio stations whose frequencies are not used by the RDS system are not displayed on the screen. They are sorted by frequency, which is indicated at the end of the list.

Select the "Preset" mode by pressing 18.

This mode allows you to recall the stored radio stations (see the section "Storing a Radio Station Frequency into Memory" in this chapter). Press one of the buttons in zone A to select the stored radio stations.

Note: To return to the "Main Menu", press button 10.

Follow the instructions above to select a radio station.

Long press one of the keys in area A.

You can store up to 12 radio stations in each broadcast band.

Note: Symbol 15 indicates the radio station you are currently listening to.

The 16 mark shows you the number of pages that are in this section.

Radio settings

To go to the next page, press button 17.

Enter the settings menu by pressing 19 You can turn on or off the functions by pressing "On" or "Off" (the configuration menu changes depending on the wavelength) The following functions are available:

• 2. "RDS";
• 3. "TA" (information about traffic conditions);
• 4. "Region";
• 5. "News";
• "AM";
• 6. "Update list"

"RDS"

Some FM and DAB radio stations broadcast text information about the program currently being listened to (for example, the name of the song).

Note: This information is only available on some radio stations.

"TA" (information about traffic conditions)

This function allows the audio system to search for and automatically switch to listening to traffic information broadcast by some FM and DAB radio stations.

Note: Automatic traffic information is disabled when the AM waveband is turned on.

Information about the traffic situation is distributed automatically on a priority basis, regardless of the source being listened to.

To turn this feature on or off, see the Radio Settings section in this chapter.

"AF"

The broadcast frequency of an FM radio station may vary depending on the geographic area.

To listen to the same radio station continuously throughout your route, turn on the "AF" function so that your audio system can automatically adjust to changing broadcast frequencies.

Note: This frequency change tracking is only possible on some radio stations.

AF Frequency is only available when the "RDS" function is enabled.

However, under poor reception conditions, this system may cause unexpected and annoying frequency jumps. In this case, you need to disable this function.

"News"

This function allows you to automatically switch to listening to the news when it is broadcast on some FM and DAB radio stations.

If you subsequently select other broadcast sources, turning on the broadcast of the selected program type will interrupt the signal from other sources.

"AM"

You can enable or disable the AM wavelength. To enable or disable this feature, see the "Radio Settings" section of this "Refresh List" chapter.

To update the list of radio stations and include the latest stations, click "Run".

Note: We recommend updating the "DAB" list when you first turn on the system.
